Can it Float? - Character Modelling and Boat Building

Join Wild Earth Movement for a gentle morning of crafts and team building. Unleashing your creative skills, learning new skills, and making new friends along the way.
10-10-30 - Breakfast Club and Brain teasers (expect wordsearches, spot the difference and colouring)
10.30 - 11.15 We will start the session by crafting miniature models- these may be of yourself, an animal, a favourite character
11.15 -11.30 - Snack Break and Game
11.30- 12.30- The next task is to build a boat for your model. This can be done individually or in teams. Take your time, it needs to float!
12.30-1 LUNCH
1- 1.30 - Group boat testing. Place your models in your boat and bring them to the competition zone. Here we will test whether your boat floats and can hold your model.
1.30 - 2 - Tidy up, mindfulness and closing game
Prizes will be available for best boat and best model!
Although there will be mini competitions, this will be an inclusive and supportive environment where all models and boats are celebrated! Our wonderful team will be on hand throughout to assist with the building process and parents and guardians are welcome to stay at the session for the duration if you want to use this as an opportunity to spend intentional time with your child or young person.
Breakfast will include toast and cereal options with fruit
Snack options will include fruit and a sweet treat.
Lunch will include wraps, fruit, vegetables, crisps and yoghurt
(Hot soup and bread is also available as a hot lunch option)
Please indicate any dietary requirements in the booking and ensure any medical equipment (including epipens) are detailed and made known to staff upon arrival
We can accommodate for additional needs and absolutely welcome SEND children. Please communicate with us any specific requirements to ensure the sessions are accessible to your child or young person.
