RAW Summer 2026 HAF - Specialist Art and BSL Activities

We will provide a wide variety of creative activities such as watercolour painting, making birdhouses, optical illusion art, pencil drawing, design your own T-shirt, Deaf Awareness, British Sign Language, games and more.
All materials, tuition and a meal are included and no previous art experience is needed.
We encourage young people to use their imaginations, and we are a very supportive team.
Some basic sign language tuition is included. Children can bring their own food if they prefer, please let us know about that at the time of booking.

The location is :
West Bromwich Central Library, High Street, West Bromwich B70 8DZ. We are in the upstairs room.
Please organise drop off and pick up of your young person - or let us know if they are making their own way.
If you are traveling by car, there is no car parking at the front of the library. We have agreed with the Town Hall that parents/carers can drop off and pick up their children using their car park which normally requires a permit. Turn into Lodge Road and then immediate left to access this. We will provide photos of this for parents/carers. Otherwise there is a pay and display car park in Edward Street or meters on the surrounding roads or Tesco supermarket is about a 10 minute walk away and has 2 hours free parking for customers who spend over £5 in store.
Public Transport: Central Library is well served by buses 44 / 47 / 64 / 74 / 74A / 79. Midlands Metro stop Lodge Road (West Bromwich Town Hall) is a short walk away.
Because of the set activity times we are starting our sessions promptly at 10am and sessions will finish promptly at 2pm.
Clothing:
Children can wear comfortable casual clothes – but not their best please as we are using art materials that could possibly stain.
