LFAC Dance workshop (2nd April)

This is a Dance workshop only session with no other activities provided.
During the dance workshop children will learn the importance of staying healthy and looking after their body.
Develop social and communication skills, team work, will make new friends and learn something new.
The dance work shop is a mix of styles and focuses on basic techniques and simple choreography.
It is advised that children attend both dance workshops were possible.
At approximately 4pm on Thursday 9th April Parent/carers will be welcomed in to watch a showcase of what the children have learnt.
As this is a dance workshop all children will be expected to attend in suitable sports/ dance wear (i.e sports leggings, tracksuit bottoms, dance trousers, t-shirts or vest tops and suitable sports/dance shoes- Trainers, Jazz shoes, Dance sneakers or Soft ballet/ yoga shoes) any child that arrives wearing unsuitable sports/ dance attire and footwear will be sent home.
Jewellery is not permitted and all long hair must be tied back.
All children must bring a water bottle containing only water or juice/ Squash. Any fizzy, caffeinated or sports drinks will be confiscated and returned at the end of the session.
Lunch will be provided when they walk in at 12.30pm in the form of a grab bag, consisting of a Sandwich or choice, packet of crisps, piece of fruit and a dessert choice of either a chocolate cookie or a donut. Any children with specific dietary requirements may bring their own lunch if wanted, however our caterer can meet all needs and provide alternative options where needed (please specify)
