The playscheme opens at 10:00 am with a welcome and registration upon arrival, followed by a group warm-up and a 30-minute breakout session each morning.
From 10:30 am to 11:15 am, physical and enrichment activities will take place. For example:
• Mauy Thai on Monday
• Tennis on Tuesday
• Athletics on Wednesday
• Rounders on Thursday
Alongside these:
• Arts and Crafts: Kite flying, Beading, Painting, Jewellery making
• Building & Creating: Reading, Creative writing, Drawing
• STEM: Coding and Robotics, Building with raw or upcycled materials
• Environment: Gardening, School recycling and compost projects
• Cookery: Baking or preparing lunch
After a fruit snack break, the children will participate in a group activity from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, indoors/outdoor, including games such as circus skills, TAG, human knot, tug of war, football, obstacle course, basketball, treasure hunt, Sardines, and more team-building and agility games.
From 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm, the children will be served a hot meal with dessert. Allergies and dietary requirements will be taken into account.
After lunch, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, the children will have the freedom to develop independence by engaging in child-led play, making choices and selecting games to play with friends.
We are an inclusive playscheme; all our activities support children with SEN. If your child has a statement or EHCP and requires 1:1 support, please expect a friendly support call from us soon.
