Secondary school-aged students will find the HAF programme both exciting and enriching, with a wide range of activities designed to challenge and inspire. They can take part in high-tech laser tag missions, competitive gaming adventures and team sports, promoting teamwork, coordination and healthy competition.
Students can also get involved in bushcraft sessions, developing practical outdoor survival skills such as fire safety awareness, shelter building and team-based challenges that build resilience and confidence. Supervised archery sessions provide an opportunity to develop precision, focus and self-discipline in a safe and structured environment.
For those who enjoy creative or quieter pursuits, there are craft projects tailored to teens, a reading corner for relaxation, board games for social interaction and even LEGO building for imaginative construction. Students can also explore STEM-based challenges and take part in hands-on coding sessions, encouraging problem-solving and digital literacy in a dynamic, engaging setting.
The HAF programme, which includes balanced and nutritious meals, is free of charge and aims to provide an inclusive and enriching experience for students who receive free school meals. It’s a fantastic opportunity for schools to ensure that all their students have access to an enjoyable and memorable half-term break, regardless of their economic circumstances.
