For primary school-aged children, the HAF programme offers an exciting and well-rounded mix of activities designed to engage minds and energise bodies. Children can dive into thrilling laser tag missions and explore both retro and modern gaming, sparking fun and friendly competition. The programme also features LEGO building zones, board games and a cosy reading corner, providing quieter moments that encourage imagination, literacy and social interaction.

Young adventurers can also take part in bushcraft sessions, where they’ll learn practical outdoor skills such as shelter building, knot tying, fire safety awareness and teamwork challenges. Alongside this, supervised archery activities give children the opportunity to develop focus, patience and hand–eye coordination in a safe and structured setting.

Children will have hands-on opportunities to explore STEM challenges and coding workshops, promoting critical thinking and digital skills in a fun, age-appropriate way. There’s plenty of time for team sports and group activities, helping to build coordination and collaboration. Creative craft projects further ignite artistic expression and fine motor skills.

Every session is fully supervised to ensure a safe, supportive environment, giving parents peace of mind while children enjoy a fun, educational and active break.

The HAF programme, which includes balanced and nutritious meals, is free of charge and aims to provide an inclusive and enriching experience for students who receive free school meals. It’s a fantastic opportunity for schools to ensure that all their pupils have access to an enjoyable and memorable half-term break, regardless of their economic circumstances.
