Ready for a challenge? Step into life on a working farm with an action‑packed session at Forge Mill Farm, designed for young people aged 11–16.
From 11:00am to 3:00pm, you won’t just be visiting the farm—you’ll be part of the team. Expect to head straight into animal pens with us, get hands-on with tools and equipment safely, and take on the responsibility of giving our animals the enrichment they need to stay active, healthy, and curious. This is your chance to experience the side of farming most people never see.
Because most of our activities take place outdoors, please dress for the weather—and be prepared to get a bit muddy!
Lunch includes a hearty jacket potato with your choice of cheese, beans, or butter, along with a drink, crisps, and a healthy snack you’ll prepare yourself as part of the experience.
